Shona launched within the Business Operations team at Metrum Research Group following UP’s Speed Interview and a Flexreturn engagement.. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Media Arts. Prior to joining Metrum, Shona’s work history included 8 years in Television Studio Directing where she won two Emmy awards, as well as, 7 years as an analyst in Business Operations Technology. Shona is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a science fiction author.
She opted out to pursue an ambition as a sci-fi writer as well as to focus on raising her daughter. Like many of us, she then found herself deeply committed to volunteer roles. Not wanting to dive back in full time, she found UP’s offering aligned with her goals of seeking an exciting role with the level of flexibility she needed. i
She lives with her husband and daughter in Canton.
