Thank you for visiting and, if applicable, signing up for our service. This Privacy Policy is written to better explain how we collect and use your information. It also addresses the expectation of our Community Members and Applicants.  This Privacy Policy is a binding contract and you must agree to in order to use our services. By accessing or using any of our services, you signify your consent to this Privacy Policy.  This Privacy Policy constitutes a binding and enforceable legal contract between Untapped Potential Inc. (UP) and you - so please read it carefully. This website is intended for those in the United States and particularly is launching to serve the CT region.  If you are outside of those regions, please email to discuss expanding to your region.  Our use of data is described in this privacy policy and does not intend to meet other guidelines for regions outside our current areas. If you use our services, you do so knowingly. 


Community Members:

As a Community Member of Untapped Potential, we support you in a wide range of connections and activities to support launching and landing in your second stage career.  Through Untapped Potential Community Events, you will meet Untapped Potential Contacts, Clients or Untapped Potential Pledging Partners. Untapped Potential will represent your interest with Untapped Potential Contacts, Clients and Pledging Partners in negotiating a role with a placement fee. Those Contacts curated and educated by Untapped Potential are in support of our social mission to impact gender equity, diversity and work-life balance by working with Untapped Potential. By participation in Untapped Potential's Return-to-Work Week and Speed Interview Event, you agree to the terms note in our Privacy Policy. If a transactional engagement, whether contractual or employee/employer type, results with these curated clients (not otherwise connected by you prior), such transaction will be facilitated through Untapped Potential Inc. This is such that our offerings are sustainable.  


Through the community, we also encourage and support you in a networking plan where you are seeking contacts, interviews and networks elsewhere such that you are successful in finding the right fit for you. We encourage you to define, develop and negotiate those opportunities independently. 

Regarding the Application:

When you submit for a Flexreturn™ Application, we are actively presenting your information to Untapped Potential Contacts, Clients and Pledging Partners.  For those Contacts, Untapped Potential will represent your interest in negotiating a role. Those Contacts, curated and educated by Untapped Potential, are in support of our social mission to impact gender equity, diversity and work-life balance by working with Untapped Potential.  As with our community members, we also encourage and support you in a networking plan where you are seeking contacts, interviews and networks elsewhere such that you are successful in finding the right fit for you. We encourage you to define, develop and negotiate those opportunities independently.  Please see our Nominal Agreement (link) which pays a Stipend to defray your costs of participating in Untapped Potential's short duration engagement offering you a stepping stone to the workplace that yields Contacts, Currency and Confidence. Note that the engagement may vary in duration or level of effort based on Client/Candidate needs and the Stipend is prorated accordingly. In the case where a Direct Hire to the Client is a fit for both Client and Candidate then Untapped Potential  is remunerated by the Client for that Placement Service on your behalf.  In the case where Untapped Potential connects you to a Client  such a role and such remuneration is not feasible, Untapped Potential will negotiate a remuneration-in-arrears with you in advance specifically. This remuneration for our finder's fee may be in-kind or monetary. There is no obligation on your behalf to take the role. 

Personal Information We Collect:

When using our service, you will supply us with your name, email address, and possibly a password. If supplying a password, please use a different password than you do on other websites.

In addition to the above information, you will also be permitted to upload resumes, images, background information relevant to applying to opportunities or utilizing our other services offerings, and other information supplied by you to us as needed.

In addition to providing us with the above information about yourself, you must be at least 18 years of age or older to use our service. We are prohibited by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act from collecting information from anyone below the age of 13.


Non-Personal Information We Collect:

We may collect information about you that is not personal information. When you access our website, we may collect such things as your IP address, browser, operating system, referring URL, service provider, and other general information about our visitors. This information, on its own, cannot usually be used to identify you.

Use of Information:

We may use your information:

    •    To enhance or improve user experience, our site, or our service.

    •    To send e-mails about our website or respond to inquiries.

    •    To send emails about our website and other products, news, services, or updates.

    •    To apply for opportunities on your behalf, when you have requested that we do so.

    •    To do anything else you consent for us to do.

    •    To do anything else that Untapped Potential Inc. believes, in good faith, will improve its business, operations, security, or users' experiences.

    •    To connect you with any coach you have agreed to work with through UP services.

    •    To provide, or allow third-parties to provide, you with information about job opportunities we feel would be interesting to you.

    •    To provide third-parties with insights into our user-base and users’ behaviors.

Cookies & Affiliate Marketing:

Cookies are used to save user preferences. For this reason, it is necessary that you have cookies enabled in order to get the most out of our service.

We may use third-party vendor tracking cookies. This means we would continue to show ads to you across the Internet. The third-party vendors, including Google, whose services we use, will place cookies on web browsers in order to serve ads based on past visits to our website. Third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our website. This allows us to make special offers and continue to market our services to those who have shown interest in our services.

Third Party Websites:

We may link to third party websites from our own website including, among other things, Client company websites. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, these third party websites or their use of your personal information. We recommend that you review their privacy policies and other agreements governing your use of their website.

Third Party Access to Your Information:

We protect your information from being accessed by third parties. However, since we may employ outside maintenance personnel or use a third party to host our material, there are third party entities which may have custody or access to your information. Moreover, if you hire or agree to work with a coach, we will give that coach your information to allow us and them to give you the best service possible. Because of this, it is necessary that you permit us to give access to your information to third parties to the same extent that you authorize us to do so. For greater certainty, every authorization which you grant to us in this Privacy Policy, you also grant to any third party that we may hire, contract, or otherwise retain the services of for the purpose of operating, maintaining, repairing, or otherwise improving or preserving our website or its underlying files or systems. You agree not to hold us liable for the actions of any of these third parties, even if we would normally be held vicariously liable for their actions, and that you must take legal action against them directly should they commit any tort or other actionable wrong against you.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you authorize us to share information with Clients to which you apply for a Flex-Return via Untapped Potential Inc. services or with a coach when you agree to work with such coach.

Law Enforcement:

We may disclose your information to a third party where we believe, in good faith, that it is desirable to do so for the purposes of a legal matter. In the event that we receive a subpoena affecting your privacy, we may elect to notify you prior.

Security of Information:

It is in our interests to secure our systems against external threats. However, we make no representations as to the security or privacy of your information. It is in our interest to keep our website secure, but we recommend that you use anti-virus software, firewalls, and other precautions to protect yourself from security threats.


We may amend this Privacy Policy as needed, and will replace former versions on line with the amended version. We will also note the date that the currently displayed Privacy Policy took effect for you to determine whether a change may have been made since your last usage. Like our Terms of Use, you must visit this page each time you come to our website and read and agree to it if the date it was last modified is more recent than the last time you agreed to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the new Privacy Policy, you must immediately cease using our website and services.
