The Seniors Job Bank of Connecticut hosts Next Chapter Success, a free career service designed to support those over 50 making a career transition. Happening THIS week in West Hartford!

Attend this session if you are:

🤔 Hoping to build connections and uncover career opportunities.

Digital & Business Tools: 1:00pm - 2:15pm

This session builds comfort with essential workplace technologies such as email, document sharing, video meetings, AI, and basic productivity tools. Participants also learn how to navigate online job boards and application systems with greater ease and confidence.

Barbara DeLoureiro, Founder and CEO of Vizionara, an IT Consultancy. She leverages 20+ years of high-technology management and leadership experience to help clients drive digital transformation, strategic planning, IT organization design, and operational maturity. She has bene a Speaker a number of skillUP's for Untapped Potential, has mentored Candidates in STEM, and serves on our Advisory Council.

Communications & Networking: 2:30pm -3:45pm

Participants will strengthen professional communication skills for both in-person and digital environments. The session focuses on building authentic connections, using LinkedIn effectively, and leveraging community relationships to uncover opportunities.

Jean Mix is the Owner of Mix Education Services. Jean is an established Corporate Trainer who provides both Training and Corporate Consulting supporting industry Leaders. She has a Masters in Corporate and Technical Communications and has an expertise in corporate communications, change management and negotiation skills.
