We are proud to share that Untapped Potential has been named one of the Top 10 Diversity & Inclusion HR Suppliers by HR Tech Insight Magazine in its June 2025 issue. Even more exciting, our story was featured on the cover, highlighting how our innovative model is helping to reignite careers, redefine diversity, and fuel the future of work.

In today’s workforce, where talent shortages challenge even the most competitive employers, our mission to help high-caliber women pivot back into professional careers after caregiving has never been more relevant. This recognition shines a light on the importance of returning talent to work—talent that is too often overlooked despite the depth of experience and perspective it brings.

As the article notes: “Untapped Potential stands out not only for its mission but for the measurable impact it’s making—bridging the gap between overlooked talent and forward-thinking companies.”

A Meaningful Spotlight from the HR Community

Recognition from within the HR industry is especially meaningful. Our work depends on collaborative engagement with talent acquisition teams and forward-thinking employers willing to try a different path to source talent. These are companies who understand that diversity, equity, and inclusion are not checkboxes, but long-term strategies to build healthier, more sustainable workplaces.

Our trademarked Flexreturn® program and our signature Speed Interview events are designed to remove friction in hiring overlooked professionals. We offer companies an opportunity to test talent with a structured, supportive returnship—and we offer talent the confidence to relaunch with guidance and dignity. This is more than a talent pipeline—this is a reimagined return path, tailored for professionals who paused for caregiving and are now ready to contribute again at a high level.

We are grateful for the many HR professionals who partner with us, opening a new kind of “door” for women returning to work after caregiving. This includes leaders in growth sectors like finance, manufacturing, healthcare, and tech, who understand the long-term value of investing in mid-career professionals and building gender-diverse teams.

Employer Partners Leading the Way

Two of our longtime employer partners, Motorlease Corporation and OneDigital, were highlighted in the HR Tech Insight article for the impact they’ve seen from engaging with Untapped Potential talent.

Motorlease Corporation has been a champion of our innovative onboarding practices and has worked with Untapped Potential to fill key roles with returners who are thriving and contributing across the organization.

Similarly, OneDigital, a leader in strategic HR and benefits solutions, recognized the business case for supporting returners and embracing untapped talent.

We are so proud to work with employers like Motorlease Corporation, OneDigital and other engaged businesses who understand the value of our skilled talent and that creating equitable return paths is essential to building a truly inclusive workforce.

Building a System that Works

This recognition from HR Tech Insight validates the work we’ve been doing since our founding: to reframe the career break not as a liability, but as a phase in a life-long career journey. Through our stepwise model—Assess, Engage, Return, and Launch—we help both sides of the hiring equation succeed.

We’ve seen firsthand how flexible, project-based opportunities can be a win-win. Companies reduce their risk by engaging proven professionals in a defined engagement, while returners rebuild confidence, update skills, and re-enter the workforce with clarity.

Yet what truly makes this model work is the human-centered approach. Behind every success story is a network of mentors, coaches, alumni, and employers who believe in second chances and untapped potential. And leading that charge internally is Jennifer Frederick, our teammate whose marketing expertise and deep empathy for our talent pool brings the mission to life across every touchpoint.

Jennifer has been instrumental in shaping how we tell our story—making it real, relevant, and resonant. From campaign strategy to crafting candidate spotlights, her work ensures that both talent and employers understand the true value of returners.

Capturing the Heart of Our Work

We also want to thank Seshu Badrinath of Connecticut Headshots for the stunning photography that accompanied our feature. He managed to capture not just our team, but the essence of our purpose—professionalism with compassion, strength with grace, and opportunity born from experience.

We believe deeply that companies of all sizes—startups to enterprise—can benefit from what returners bring. As the world of work continues to shift, investing in people who paused their careers for caregiving is not just the right thing to do—it’s smart business.

Looking Ahead

We are energized by this recognition and inspired by our fellow honorees who are also making meaningful strides in diversity and inclusion. Together, we are proving that systemic change is possible—and powerful—when we put equity and innovation at the center.

We look forward to deepening our work with partners such as the Connecticut Technology Council’s Women of Innovation and the Employers Association of the NorthEast, whose alignment with our mission helps create wider pathways to opportunity.

To our community of talent, mentors, alumni, employers, and supporters—this recognition is yours too. And to our fellow awardees in HR Tech Insight’s Top 10—we cheer you on. The more we collectively innovate, the more inclusive and future-ready our workplaces will become.

Let’s keep unlocking what’s possible.
