Advancing business, igniting students

This year was our 3rd year collaborating with CCSU Professor Drew Harris' ENT 355 Managing a Growing Business entrepreneurial class. Untapped Potential benefited from these budding entrepreneurs' ideas, processes, and deliverables. On the flip side, the students, both women and men, got a glimpse of future work-life challenges.

Shout out to the team at Central Connecticut University focused on supporting Untapped Potential: Paige Patz, Isaac Coello, Kaley Melanson, Clifton Thompson, and Stephanyie Rios! We were thankful for their support in advancing our business objectives while the students gained hands-on execution of their class lessons. They delivered following a semester of work-based research! Working with Professor Drew Harris and his students offers a terrific opportunity for Untapped Potential Inc.

As a student consulting group, they researched optimal ways to scale UP's support via online courses, to reach more talent and close more opportunity gaps. They built example course modules in our existing website platform and tested AI video, script, and engagement element generation to assist in course development.

In addition, they assisted with a marketing plan for the new course product offerings and provided concrete measures of success and opportunity for the growth of the business! It was exciting to see all they had come up with in the final presentations.

It was great to work alongside fellow entrepreneurs who have also been long time advocates of Untapped Potential. With me in the picture to the right is James Smith of Universal Connectivity and participating virtually was Rock W. Vitale, PMP , CEO of Easie.

Universal Connectivity is a leader in the telecommunications solutions space. James' project for the students involved advancing the company with AI offerings which streamline processes.

Easie has developed a proprietary, AI-powered document data extraction product that dramatically reduces extraction and entry time while increasing accuracy. Rock charged the students with researching target vertical applications, identifying potential early adopters, and developing a marketing strategy.

These projects offer a terrific opportunity for our students to gain real world experience working with and providing value to growing organizations. As we know from being Moms, investing in our future is never a bad idea. There is so much to share and be inspired by. It was a real joy watching these accomplished students support our growth strategy and the other businesses in the program. We look forward to watching their own innovative ideas come to fruition!

Thank you for the opportunity Professor Harris!
