For 10 years, Untapped Potential has been changing how the workforce values caregivers and career breaks. Our work captures, readies and launches educated-experienced talent showing employers the real contribution returners bring when given a different door back in.
Each of you who have crossed our path are part of our story, from team-members who have launched through working at Untapped Potential, forward-thinking clients, supportive mentors, and, of course, our exceptional talent. We are grateful to each and every one of you!
As we step into our next decade, we’re asking our community to renew their commitment to opening minds, opening doors, and opening conversations—through literal informational interviews and warm introductions that showcase who returners are and how we can contribute to the workforce.
Reignite YOUR Professional Potential!
This event inspires each attendee to shift their perspective to welcoming 2026 with an eye on your highest aspirational goals. You want you to think BIG as you have limitless potential. Reigniting your passion for your work, we will share actionable steps for getting started on that career journey. Whether you had “opted-out”, seeking to downsize as a busy mom in the messy middle, or wanting to elevate your professional potential after your double-duty has ended, you will get great support from our industry mentors, career coaches, and supportive allies.
Industry professionals also benefit from thinking big for their 2026 professional goals.
Lift Each Other UP! Panel
For years we have gathered folks together to really hear the journeys of women while they navigate the complex tasks of delivering for family and for their career. Our Lift UP! Panel inspires all of those in the room. Our first panel left audience members talking in the parking lot and hour after the venue closed! We have crafted a special panel led by our Moderator, Sarah Cody, Director of Public Relations at Middlesex Health, and Emmy award-winning journalist, who brings her own pivot story. You'll hear from panelists at different points of the career-life success continuum uniquely representing the personas we serve here at Untapped Potential, from "Stay-at-home Sara", "Opt-out-Olivia", and "Transition Terry".
Hearing success stories can be incredibly motivating. You will learn how others overcame challenges similar to yours. Their journeys can inspire you to take the next step in your career.
Mentor Mingle
This milestone event creates a welcoming space to share your career goals and connect with industry mentors. They provide guidance, insights on today’s professional landscape, and a listening ear for your aspirations.
Our Mentors are defined as those "in" the workplace. Until you attend as a Mentor, you really do not know the value you bring to those currently "outside" the world of work. We invite our Mentors to help Untapped Potential create a professional environment for our Talent, often stay at home Moms who have been out of their professional capacities for a time. What results is a safe, yet professional environment, for our Candidates to try out their professional intro.

Often a Ladies Night Out, this event includes male allies eager to support our returners. Engaging with industry leaders can open doors.
The event will take place in the fabulous collaboration space of our Client, Connecticut Wealth Management, who generously offered the location. As a Financial Services Firm, they are "committed to helping turn their customers aspirations into reality."
