Women Empowering Women

Join Co-Chairs Jan Turner and Stephanie Polzella as the lead this year's Power of the Purse: Inspiring Change. The 12th Annual Power of the Purse put on by United Way | Women United offered by United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut.

The Power of the Purse event helps women and families achieve financial security. As more families struggle to make ends meet due to the complex job market and new sets of challenges, this type of support matters more than ever. By participating in this year’s event, you are ensuring that people receive job training, financial education, and savings opportunities.

Mentors and Candidates are invited to work the room with your newly honed networking skills while supporting Women United | United Way!

We are so proud UNTAPPED POTENTIAL INC is able to contribute as a BRONZE SPONSOR for the 3rd year in a row! We align our programmatic offering with the event because it aligns with our objectives:

✅ to empower women

✅ to ensure women achieve their professional potential

✅ to enable gender equity (in work)

We know first-hand how easy it is for women to get off a successful career path. And, through our work, we have learned that many of today's roles, especially those often fulfilled by women, do not offer a living wage.

Folks have a chance to bid on beautiful, donated purses, and ours particularly came with an opportunity to Return or Pivot to YOUR Potential with a network of support, skillUP opportunities, and real curated-company engagement.

Network to your caliber at this important event!

By participating in the Power of the Purse Event, you will be strategically poised to grow your professional connections while doing social good for women.
