As 2026 begins, Untapped Potential is reflecting on a major milestone: ten years of advancing business and reigniting careers. Over the past decade, our community has touched more than 900 professionals, empowered businesses from start-ups to Fortune 100's, and enabled women to return to paid work or pivot into new roles. With each launched candidate, we are a step closer to our goal of impacting gender equality in work.

Throughout those years, our work has created a lot of feel-good stories while we support people on their journeys to financial independence, sometimes after life‑altering events. The careers our talent secured have helped families pay for college tuition, access healthcare benefits, and even purchase homes, all while adding value to business as well as earning power and spending strength to the Connecticut economy.

A place to Reconnect with one's Professional Self

 

Beyond supporting financial independence, Untapped Potential is often the place where women first begin to reconnect the dots between what they are good at, what they truly want to do, and what industry needs. Women explore their strengths, values, and dreams so they can design a next chapter that feels both sustainable and genuinely fulfilling.

On January 22nd we'll gather for our 10-Year Anniversary, not only to celebrate but also to look ahead. We'll kick-off 2026 from a professional perspective, reigniting big aspirations encouraging you along the steps to get there. Guided by award-winning journalist, author, and Director of Public Relations at Middlesex Health, Sarah Cody, we will hear real stories in our Lift Each Other UP career panel including women at different stages of their career arcs. These women are no stranger to aligning work with caregiving.

The Mentor Mingle will take place at an incredible venue offered by Connecticut Wealth Management in Farmington, CT. Attend to meet returners, working women, and mentors who understand the realities of balancing work and life and who are ready to lift the next wave of talent.
