Human Resource Manager, Motorlease Corporation
Kelly Cloud is a Human Resources professional who has charted an impressive return path with Untapped Potential partner, Motorlease, logging 4 promotions in 5 years. Pivoting from her original career in events planning and management which leveraged her BS in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management, Kelly launched in a Flexreturn Engagement as support to the Customer Relations team, helping the department run smoothly. Recognized for a natural ability to keep the details straight and a pleasant way with customers, she quickly moved through to a Customer Operations Manager role.
As a valued part of the team, CEO Beth Kandrysawtz tapped her for the company's first inhouse HR Manager where she supports across all elements of HR: Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, and Employee Relations. Relishing this new work opportunity, Kelly is currently earning an HR certificate from Central Connecticut State University to augment her professional growth. And bonus, she also gets to utilize her prior skills in Event Planning to bring the team together! Kelly had nearly 10 years at home raising her two sons. She lives in Simsbury, CT and volunteers her time as a Junior Achievement Business mentor and fundraiser for Simsbury Youth Hockey.
