Barret Katuna, Ph.D., Executive Officer of Sociologists for Women in Society joined UP’s 3rd Annual Mentor Mingle.
Sociologists for Women in Society is a national organization most known for its publication: "Gender & Society", the official journal of Sociologists for Women in Society, a top-ranked journal in sociology and women's studies. Barret offered a “Perspective” of women’s role in work and society kicking-off the evening’s seminar.
It was important to understand the changes of perspective of ‘working women’ through history, the new markets developed to support working women today and the critical time of change women and society face today.
