Learn from our skillUP Partner: Our Second Innings
Many of you have had a chance to meet Love Bajpal and Samir Bhatt at our interviewing events. Their organization, Second Innings was founded to help 'future proof' careers by providing courses in areas that are in high demand today. They are perfect for those starting fresh following a career break for caregiving.
These courses take you from exposure to the jargon of the topic to a capstone project with an official certification. You'll attend weekly virtual sessions with our skillUP Partner Second Innings. You'll learn enough to speak intelligently when solving business problems or be able to assess if you want to go further with these disciplines as your second stage career. Either way you will be up to speed on skills that are current, and in-demand, showing your relevance on a resume and a flexible go-forward option to pursue.
All classes meet once weekly from 7pm - 8:30pm for 6 weeks beginning the week of April 12th and going through the week of May 17th:
Data Analytics 101 (Mondays)
Cybersecurity 101 (Tuesdays)
Python (Wednesdays)
SQL (Thursdays)
Study only one topic or skillUP in all four!
You'll get access all the information in the class SLACK channel. These courses are offered through Second Innings via the Avon Library and sign up will take you directly to Avon's registration link. You must sign up by April 7th. Classes start April 12th.
