Barbara DeLoureiro

Founder & CEO, Vizionara, LLC

Barbara DeLoureiro is a technology executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of leadership experience in the high-tech sector. She is the CEO and Founder of Vizionara, LLC, a women-owned technology consulting firm that helps organizations manage complex IT programs and drive digital transformation. Vizionara blends deep IT delivery expertise with strategic advisory services, enabling clients to improve business outcomes, modernize systems, and build high-performing teams.


Barbara’s background includes executive leadership roles at EMC Corporation, where she served as Chief of Staff to the CIO, led IT transformation initiatives, and oversaw key functions including the IT PMO, communications, and talent development. Earlier in her career, she held engineering roles at UPS and worked as a Sales Engineer supporting Fortune 100 clients in pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. During her 6 years raising her two boys she stayed current as an adjunct professor at Babson, focusing on applying technology for start-ups.


A strong advocate for women in technology, Barbara serves on the Advisory Council of Untapped Potential Inc., a social enterprise advancing gender equity in the workforce. She also actively engages with professional groups such as the CT Technology Council, the CT Women’s Council, and the Society for Information Management.


Barbara holds an MBA from Boston College and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. She is certified in Change Management and Agile Scrum and trained in Six Sigma and ITIL. Through her “Vizionara Gives Back” initiative, she and her team offer pro-bono consulting to nonprofits to support technology adoption and mission growth.
