About the Event
This event is put on by NEAG's DISC (Diversity, Inclusion, & Social Collaboration) council. DISC is proud to present this engaging and lively panel discussion on:
- HOW to improve your understanding of WHAT DEI is and WHY it matters
- HOW each component of DEI intersects and WHY all three are critical to the workplace and society
- What DEI can mean to you and for you
If you are looking to improve your understanding of DEI, your organization and your community, this event is for you!
This session is one of a multi-part series hosted by NEAG’s DISC group. All sessions are free and open to the public. Our goal is to help all better understand and embrace individuals from all walks of life and who deserve to be respected, included and given equal opportunities in society.
This panel has been put together by NEAG DISC Leaders Yvonne Alston, Tom Bayley, Maryann Burns and Deborah Hopper for making this happen. Deborah Hopper is an active UP community member and mentor.
Space is limited to 100 participants.Â
