About the Event
An opportunity to practice your elevator pitch and your interview technique via zoom.
Mock interviews are an essential step in preparing for your return-to-work journey. Candidates in the UNTAPPED POTENTIAL community are welcome, as well as those attending the WorkUP & Returner's Accelerator Event! It's always a good to practice. Our Mentors support you with benevolent interviewing and time is allowed for feedback.
You'll get valuable feedback and a sense of direction for future interviews.
Prepare by creating your Elevator Pitch and S.T.A.R. Interview Stories. Wear business casual on top. Prepare your background and take notice as to what is shown, if attending virtually. Remove any distractions and backlighting situations. If on your phone, take care to put it in a stand positioned at eye level and in a solid propped position that won't move when you talk.
