Create your Vision

About the Event
When one is contemplating their return to their professional life following caregiving, many questions come to mind:
Where do I fit?
Do I want to do what I used to do?
What about my new found talents?
Creating a "Vision Board" is a stress-free way to contemplate the vision of your future role beginning with examing you and all the aspects of your life that are important to you. You'll explore it in a fun way with this exercise.
The Simbury Public Library Hosts Karen K Needham, LMSW, CPC,. She'll briefly discuss aspects of life, including: Career, Family, Finance, Friends/Community, Fun/Recreation, Growth/Learning, Health, and Spirituality. The discussion will then concentrate on jobs/career life aspect and what that looks like by creating your own career vision board.
To get your creative juices flowing, Karen will ask questions to inspire you. (Location: Where do I see myself, Time: Spare time versus Job time, Goals: Position, Promotion). Magazines, boards and supplies will be available. If there are any quotes, pictures or trinkets that inspire you, please bring them to include on your board. You will leave with your personal Career Vision Board and a Life Aspects Review for clarity of all aspects.
Give it a try!
