Habitat for Humanity - Women Build

Join the UP team in supporting homeownership and financial independence for a family in Bristol, CT. 

Below is a typical Women Build Day with Hartford Habitat so you know what to expect:

7:45am – On site arrival time

8:00am - Start time with a mandatory safety speech, and work continues until about 10am

10:00am – Snack Break

10:15am – Works resumes

12:00pm – Lunch break

12:45 – 1pm – Work resumes, work until about 2:30pm

2:30pm – Cleanup is called and we start to break down our jobsite

3:00pm – Wrap up and thank you!

We are typically done by 3-3:30pm at the absolute latest.

COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed and sent in the confirmation email along with the physical address of the house. If for some reason you have to cancel, please let Candace or Jennifer know as soon as you can so we can backfill your spot. 

No construction experience is necessary, and we'll be fully trained in safety, so it's important to arrive on time.
