I was proud of the caliber of women that gathered to learn of Advanced Technology at CCAT! Mechanical, metallurgical and manufacturing engineers to IT and manufacturing finance resources learned of the investments CT is making. Rep. Liz Linehan (D-Cheshire, Southington, Wallingford), candidate for CT State Senate Dr. Valerie Horsley as well as Marianne Sawicki, Head of Executive Recruiting of Cigna Corporation spoke to the group regarding the need for Women to return to STEM fields.
